Imagine, if you will, a land filled with luscious green grass, majestic trees, and soothing streams. Every blink of an eye reveals a landscape waiting to be painted. Sounds like the perfect place for an artist to live, huh? Unfortunately, my specialty is people. Hard to find around these parts. This is the place I call home, the very buckle of the bible belt. Clean air (most places), rolling hills (very lovely), and the sweet smell of cow dung (they don't mention that in the travel brochures, I gah-run-tee). What more can a girl ask for?
I'm also an actress. Well...when I'm able to, at least. I love acting, storytelling, and the entire backstage atmosphere. As much as I love it, working full time while performing part-time leaves me strapped for time and stressed out. When I do actually get a little time for myself and just want to relax, I like to sit down with a good book ("To Kill a Mockingbird" is my favorite), or put on a good CD. I've got relaxation down to an art (think bubble baths in candle-lit rooms with soft music in the background...very nice). And, of course, when I get that rare burst of inspiration, I pick up a paintbrush or a journal and set to work with my creative side.
